Post-Birthday Celebration @ Centerstage MOA

April 29, 2014.  It was a night of fun and laughter.  Thanks to my best office buddies for spending 5 hours of videoke fun with me.  It was an awesome night!

Drunk or Tipsy?

Just got back from a bonding session with Mitch. Had dinner at Sizzlers Suntec, St. Louis Baby Back Ribs and overflowing of salad and ice cream. Thank you Che for the treat! :) After a mouth-watering dinner, we decided to go shopping and went to Marina Square. But since it's already half past ten, most of the stores were already closed. We didn't want to go home this early so we walked and walked and walked and we just found ourselves in front of Balaclava, just beside Suntec Mall. We had 2 rounds of drinks. No sisig nor chicharon in the menu so we settled for cashew nuts (hmpf! ang jologs ng pulutan hehehe...). She had 2 tall glasses of Carlsberg and I had Konig Ludwig Weissbier and Singapore Sling. After so much discussion about life and life and life..... we called it a night just after the band finished their set.

Thanks, Mitch! I enjoyed the night and hopefully next time, videoke naman tayo.. ;) I'm very hopeful that soon we will both find what we are looking for :)

While writing this, I don't know if I am drunk or just tipsy. What do you think, guys? :)

Desperadas

Jhie, Niks, Tabel and I watched Desperadas yesterday in Glorietta. The movie was good in the sense that it made us laugh from the start until the end. Ruffa Mae Quinto was at its best as a comedienne while Marian is better in comic roles than being a Marimar ;)). Ruffa Gutierrez never had a hard time giving justice to her role as a "maarteng sosyalera" and Iza Calzado was prim and proper all throughout the film (except for that super hilarious scene where she slipped in a resto hahahahaha!!!!). 'Wag na nating intindihin kung may sense o wala yung movie, ang importante napatawa kami :)

But before watching the movie, we had dinner first at Avenetto with Cris (jhie's super best friend, am I right mare?) and he treated us with pasta (Carbonara with Chicken), pizza (New England's Best), Buffalo Wings and 4 different kinds of desserts (Chocalate Decadence, Banana Cheesecake, Blueberry Cheesecake and Tiramisu ). Super thanks, Cris! Busog kami... buuurrrpp... :)

The original plan was to spend the night at Nikk's place but destiny had its other plan (naks, pa-destiny-destiny pa!). We decided to hang out at Cena but this time, Tabel wasn't around (she had to fetch her sister daw e....). Again, Cris was there to join the girls' bonding moments. Afterwards, Frankie and Jayjay arrived after playing billiards with some of our officemates. We had 7 bottles of GinPomelo (hanging out at Cena wouldn't be complete without Ginpo :) ), Calamares and Nachos.

We were forced to to end the night at around 3am. We still have one bottle of Ginpo left so we decided to just take it home in a bottle of Absolut hehehehehe.....

One More Chance

After about 5 months of staying away from gimiks (due to a very horrible experience that I prefer not to disclose as of this moment, later maybe :D ), finally, I got this chance to bond once again with my girl-friends. Met Tabel, Niks and Jhie after office and went straight to Rockwell to watch One More Chance starring Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz. It was my first time to watch a movie with them. Yep, first time indeed! :)

The movie was good, well, story-wise. I cannot comment on its technicalities like scoring, editing, etc. 'coz I'm not an expert at it. All I can say is that the film made me cry... laugh... smile... giggle... and think (over and over). Star Cinema's mastery of creating close-to-reality type of story made me felt like I was one of the characters.

We had dinner at Kenny Roger's and still couldn't get over Popoy and Basha. Nakaka-relate kasi ang mga bruha... maski si Tabel! :P After dinner, we met Aedner and his tropa at Starbucks Greenbelt, had a short chat with them and finally, Niks, Tabel and I went to Cena for a few rounds of Frozen Gin Pomelo :).

Had a very heartwarming (hihihihihi...) and meaningful conversation, talking 'bout relationship, career, family and many more. Tabel wanted to sing and we decided to spend more hours in Platinum but unfortunately, the rate was too expensive for the three of us. So, we endep up eating tokwa't baboy in Tiananmen hehehehehe.....

Teens Once Again :)

Friday is gimik day and the best way to start the night is to spend merienda with your buddies :). Tabel, Nikks, Don and I had our merienda (actually, dinner na rin) session at KFC People Support. I had chicken burger, french fries and a diet pepsi. To be honest, the food was not enough to satisfy my hunger that time, but with tons of kwentuhan and kulitan... hehehe...solb! ;) Right after the session, Tabel went straight to her office to get her things while the rest of us decided to play pingpong. The initial plan was to have some drinks at Cena and by 11pm, I'll be going home and they will watch Lady in the Water. We had a very energetic, intriguing and hilarious pingpong session. Imagine, 4-on-4.. whew!!! Anywayz, after playing, I actually invited everyone to have some drinks at LKG. But, Nikks said, LKG was already closed. So, everybody agreed to spend the night at Cena.

The first batch of drinkers(drinkers talaga.. hehehehe..:D) were Beng, Gary (friend of Mike), Earl, Paul, Don, Nikks, Tabel and Candy (ako un!). After about 3 or 4 bottles of frozen gin pomelo, Pau, OJ, Joy and Franco arrived. Soon, the fun started. We were like teens again, teasing this girl , that guy, that girl, this guy... whew! We had conversations that you could only hear from teenagers... well, we are young pa naman, right guys? :D The first casualty of the night was Beng... followed by me and Tabel. Nakalimutan ng manood ng sine... hahahaha...



Second stop was at Ice Vodka Bar. Did not dance too much, just let Don and Nikks do the shaking :). We did not stay long at Ice and after a few drinks, we decided to go back to the office and have some noodles. Paul did the driving since Tabel was a bit tipsy that night. After an hour of sleep, I decided to go home and leave Don and Earl sleeping while Tabel and Nikks were already home, I guess. :D

Busy Weekend

Nagkayayaan na naman last Friday... :D had a dinner first at Tokyo-Tokyo with Don, Nikks and Ning before going to Cena. At Cena, we met Paul and his gf, Kate. Started the drinking spree with Frozen Zombie, followed by Frozen Gin Pomelo. After the 2nd round, lipat kami ng table kasi di na kami magkasya sa kinalalagyan namin :P. Mike came with his gf, Madol (sana tama ang spelling :D) at si Ning naman bumatsi na. Joy and Earl arrived next. May ilang celebrities din kaming nakita like Paoli Contis with Isabel Oli, Paul Alvarez ang Migs Noble (an SMB Player). Then, I received a text from my mother telling me that Red Bull won over Ginebra, it means SMB will face the Bulls in the best-of-seven semifinal round beginning Sunday. Looking forward to this. :D

At exactly 12 midnight, punta namin kami ng Ice Vodka Bar. Duon binuhos namin lahat ang talento namin sa pagsayaw at pag-inom... hehehehe... :P. Sayaw dito, sayaw duon.. inom dito, inom duon. Grabe ang energy level nina Don at Nikks. Btw, Patrick (new ePhil employee) joined us and he became Don's partner sa pakikipagsayaw sa mga chikas.. hehehehe... Di na namin namalayan ang oras, napansin na lang namin na kami na lang ang natitirang group sa loob... hihihihihi... We went back to the office to have some noodles, thanks Joy! Don, Nikki and Patrick went home after the "breakfast". I decided to stay and wait for the sun to shine. I turned on my pc and had my radio on while surfing. Where's Earl? Andun, natutulog sa desk nya... hehehehe... kelangan eh kung gusto nyang humaba pa ang buhay nya... hehehehe.. peace, bro!

Pagkatanaw ko ng liwanag, batsi na ko. Mag-go-grocery pa kasi ako e... 7am, nasa haus na ko, slept for an hour then fixed myself. 10:30 am, nasa SM na ko with my mudra. Before mag-grocery, I bought 2 tickets for tomorrow's game, got LB 214 A5,6. After grocery, I bought single headset with mic and 2 lip gloss :P. Had lunch at Goldilock's.

3pm, nasa haus na kami and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........................

Woke up at 8pm, had dinner and watched Superman IV.

Weekend Gimik and PBBTE Big Four

Had a gimik last Friday with Nikki, Don, Ning and Mike. Medyo matagal-tagal na rin since I had my last gimik kaya eto nagmukha tuloy akong gahaman sa alak :)). Dinner sa Max's Greenbelt (we had kare-kare, 1 whole fried chicken), Inom sa Cena(frozen gin pomelo, frozen zombie and frozen dalandan margarita) at Disco sa Vodka Ice Bar(sooper, dooper dance to the max :D ). Kainis lang dahil had to go early kasi, as usual, worried ang mother ko na walang maghahatid sa kin pauwi, asa pa sya! hehehehe.. or at least may kasabay man lang... hehehehe.... kaya ayun Alone ang drama ko. 1:30 am, nasa house na ko and after cleaning myself... zzzzz......

Woke up at 10:30 am, walang lakad ngayon kasi wala pang money pang-mall.. hehehehe.. buti pa si Don nasa Mall of Asia. Texted him kung showing ba sa IMAX ang X-Men.... and sad to say, hindi. May special movies para sa IMAX cinema... di ko knows un.. :P. After lunch, tulog ulit ako.... hehehehe...

Tengga ako from 5pm - 10pm... kanta sa magic sing... tingin-tingin sa album pics ko... and while we were having our dinner, nag-brownout. Lakas kasi ng ulan with matching kulog at kidlat. Akala ko di ko na mapapanood ang PBB, announcement pa naman ng Big Four. Buti na lang, sandali lang ang brownout. Just a background, I've been watching Pinoy Big Brother since it started last year... not really a fanatic, like ko lang na makilala ang iba't ibang pag-uugali ng mga tao. What makes this teen edition more exciting is the innocence of the housemates, well at least, some of them. Jologs na kung jologs pero I really love the love team of Kim and Gerald hehehehe :D. So, the Big Four is composed of Kim, Gerald, Mikee and Clare (surprise! surprise!). I thought Brenda would be in instead of Clare. Anywyz, at least Kim and Gerald are still there :x.

Just a reaction lang sa interview ng The Buzz (o di ba, jologs to the max ang lola mo..:P ) kay Jamilla. She was asked kung me konting sama ng loob daw ba sya at hindi sya napasama sa Big Four. Jamilla, with no hesitations at all, said yes! OMG!!! iha... me amnesia ka yata. Muntik ka na ngang mag-voluntary exit kasi sabi mo, tapos na na yung misyon mo para sa anak mo. Libre na ang natitirang 3 or 4 opearations ng anak mo at sabi mo pa, mas deserving silang manalo kesa sa iyo. Tapos kahapon biglang nag-iba ihip ng hangin... hehehehe.. mga kabataan talaga oh.... o sya... good luck na lang sa inyong lahat. Can't wait to watch PBBTE tonight. Gerald and Kim are in Hundred Islands right now!
