Thanks, Niks! :)

I was on sick leave last Monday because of a fever and difficulty in peeing. The following day, I asked Nikki to accompany me at the Makati Med to undergo a check-up. We went to the out-patient department first and looked for a Urinologist. But since I was experiencing a severe pain in my lower body, Nikki advised me to go to the emergency instead. There, I was given a pain killer and had my urine examined. While the nurse was injecting the pain killer into my system, I couldn't help but cry. The needle itself was painful plus the fact that I could feel the liquid flowing through my veins. Arrgggghhh!!! Nikki was laughing at me, hmpf!!! :P

After paying my bills amounting to P2200++, we went to KFC to have lunch. At around 3pm, I went back to the hospital to get the result of my urinalysis and the doctor advised me to go to a specialist (Urinologist) because my test showed that there is a blood in my urine which might be kidney-related. I went back to the out-patient bldg. and looked for this doctor which was given to me by the lady at the Information. Upon looking at the result of my urinalysis, the doctore quickly advised me to have an ultrasound. I might have "stones" in my kidney that caused the blood in my urine. The doctor's lady assistant called the ultrasound department and asked them to prioritize me.

I went straight to the laboratory and submitted the doctor's request. The lady attendant told me that they could no longer accommodate me and have it scheduled the following week. I was surprised since my case needs an immediate result. I told them that I was the patient of Dr. ********** and his assistant already called them a while ago. She checked their records inside and she immediately gave me a form.

While I was taking the ultrasound, I was nervous and teary-eyed, it was my first time to be in this situation. Since I was a kid, I only had my hospital check-ups for my tonsilitis and nothing more. I was all alone this time. I had no one to talk to... I had no one to lean on... poor candy.

Went back to get the ultrasound result at 6pm. Again, Nikki accompanied me. After reading the result, I was relieved! No signs of abnormalities in my kidneys. The doctor said that the stones in my kidney were too small to be seen. So, he prescribed 2 kinds of medicines to wash away these tiny little things.

Lastly, I dedicate this blog entry to Nikki, for being there when I needed it most. Lav yah! Mwahhhhh!!!! :*
