:((

SMB lost to Red Bull, 101-107. SMB wasn't SMB last night:

1. Dondon Hontiveros was off;
2. Danny Seigle, yes he scored 20++ points, but his attitude did not help;
3. Dorian Pena, I don't know... maybe he was thinking of game 6 already;

Hopefully, they will snatch a win this Friday, or else.... see you next conference, Beermen!!! :(

Make or Break

While everybody is so thrilled about the Superman Returns (which opens today), I am more excited to watch the 5th game of SMB-Red Bull semifinal series. Sad to say, nobody was generous enough to spend Php370.00 to watch the game live with me :P. Just in a few minutes, I'll be on my way home and really, I can't explain what I'm feeling. Nervous, excited, hungry, whew!!!

Bahala na si Batman!!! :D

SMB, itaas mo!!!!

Red Bull - Ang mag-Walkout, Pikon!!!!

Got disappointed last Friday when SMB lost to Red Bull, 99-95. SMB was leading by as much as 10 points in the 3rd period after Dany Seigle scored 23 points in the 2nd quarter alone. I thought we were on our way to our 2nd win but I was wrong, 2-1 in favor of Red Bull.

Couldn't wait to witness Game 4. And for the 2nd time in this series, I'll be watching a live game. My mother and I arrived at the Araneta Coliseum 10 minutes before gametime. I even had a short chat with Melissa, wife of SMB point guard, Olsen Racela. It wasn't about the game, we were both complaining to the usherette why no single roll of tissue paper was available despite the fact that ticket prices went high :P.

Anyways, Game 4 started and SMB had a good start, actually, not just good but a lucky start. They played good defense, they made their shots, it was an SMB game indeed! Suddenly, with still 2:06 remaining in the first half, the Red Bull team led by their b*_*s*-*t coach walked out of the court obviously not happy with the referees' calls. My goodness!!! Every coach had their complaints regarding officiating, but he was the only one who had this guts to walk out and turn a well-fought ballgame into a mess!!! (not to count Robert Jaworski's action many years ago) Muntik ng masayang ang binayad namin dahil sa pagiging
b*_*s*-*t mo!!! My gosh!!! This is a professional league, you should have just at least ask for 2 technical fouls and be ejected. But to order your boys to walk out, where is the professionalism, coach? You even bumped Dondon Hontiveros after he made a 3-pt shot and pretended that nothing happened!!! Whoah!!! What are you?
Fortunately, SMB escaped with a 106-82 win.

Just to quote Guiao,
"People saw the game and they can decide for themselves what happened. I don’t want to blame my team for this loss. This game wasn’t lost by my team," said Red Bull coach Yeng Guiao, hinting at poor officiating the Bulls had to endure.

What is this? Can't San Miguel win because they are much better team? Kelangan ba kapag natatalo kayo e dahil sa tulong ng mga referees in favor of SMB? How pathetic....

I just hope that come game 5, everybody will play like a true professional.

SMB Evens Series

Can't explain the excitement that I feel right now. The game yesterday was awesome, the 4Ds are here again doing what they do best. Dondon Hontiveros had a magnificent game going 6-for-6 from the three-point range which tied a league all-time record for best 100% performance in a game. Dorian Pena is always at his best, another double-double performance, his 15th this conference. Danny Seigle, what more can I say, 14th straight game he scored at least 20 pts. And the best surprise of all is the return of Danny Ildefonso which really made a big difference. Of course, the entire team had a magnificent night, Chris Calaguio, Kiko Adriano, Wesley Gonzales, Denver Lopez and Brandon Cablay had their share. Where's Olsen Racela? Oh well, maybe he'll be back to his Rah-Rah form come game 3. Overshadowed by the performance of the other guards, I know Olsen would be more happy to see the team winning. Having an endgame score of 114-98 is not the typical SMB. But, who cares, as long as they are winning. :D

Right after the game, I immediately claimed my tickets for Sunday's game 4. Hopefully, SMB will win this game (para naman hindi masayang bayad ko.. :P ). But before that, there is a game 3 tomorrow. Yun muna ang paghandaan nila :).

Good luck, SMB!!!!

Manonood ba ako o Manonood ako? :D

Nagpa-reserve na ko ng ticket for this Sunday's game 4 (PBA of course!).

Feeling senti ako today and I don't know how to express what I feel right now... kaya, kanta na lang tayo..:D

I know you're out there baby
Somewhere...

[Justin]
There's someone out there for me
(I know there's somebody out there)
I know she's waiting so patiently
Can you tell me her name?
(Won't somebody tell me her name?)
*This life long search is gon' drive me insane
How does she laugh, how does she cry?
What's the colour of her eyes?
Does she even realize I'm here?
Where is she, where is she, where is she?
Where is this beautiful girl?
Who is she, who is she?
Who's gonna complete my world?
Where is she, where is she?
Where is this beautiful girl?
Who is she, who is she?
Who's gonna complete my world?

Da da da da da da da

Where are you?

[Natalie]
I'm starin' out at the sky
(I see you baby)
Praying that he will walk in my life
Where is the man of my dreams?
(I'm right here) Yeah, yeah
I'll wait forever, how silly it seems
How does he laugh, how does he cry?
What's the colour of his eyes?
Does he even realize I'm here?
Where is he, where is he, where is he?
Where is this beautiful guy?
Who is he, who is he?

Game 1 to Red Bull

I don't usually watch a live PBA series-opener, semis or finals. But yesterday was different. Actually, I bought my tickets last Saturday morning pa. Maybe, I got too excited to see my fave team playing again after almost a month of rest. Last year kasi, in the middle of the series, nag-change ng venue ang PBA from the Big Dome to Cuneta Astrodome.

Anywys, yesterday I was excited, pero parang wala ako sa mood. While waiting for a bus along Edsa-Balintawak going to Cubao, isang pulubi (na medyo me toyo rin 'ata) ang nagtanong sa kin ng oras. Whew!

Injured si Danny I, malas si Dondon H., sama mo pa si Olsen R. Though, maganda ang laro nina Dorian P. at Danny S., not enough to win the game.

So far, not as effective as Olsen, but can't blame him. Sana lang makabalik na si Danny I and bumalik sa dati ang laro nila, specially, the 4D's and Olsen.

Busy Weekend

Nagkayayaan na naman last Friday... :D had a dinner first at Tokyo-Tokyo with Don, Nikks and Ning before going to Cena. At Cena, we met Paul and his gf, Kate. Started the drinking spree with Frozen Zombie, followed by Frozen Gin Pomelo. After the 2nd round, lipat kami ng table kasi di na kami magkasya sa kinalalagyan namin :P. Mike came with his gf, Madol (sana tama ang spelling :D) at si Ning naman bumatsi na. Joy and Earl arrived next. May ilang celebrities din kaming nakita like Paoli Contis with Isabel Oli, Paul Alvarez ang Migs Noble (an SMB Player). Then, I received a text from my mother telling me that Red Bull won over Ginebra, it means SMB will face the Bulls in the best-of-seven semifinal round beginning Sunday. Looking forward to this. :D

:P. Sayaw dito, sayaw duon.. inom dito, inom duon. Grabe ang energy level nina Don at Nikks. Btw, Patrick (new ePhil employee) joined us and he became Don's partner sa pakikipagsayaw sa mga chikas.. hehehehe... We went back to the office to have some noodles, thanks Joy! Don, Nikki and Patrick went home after the "breakfast". I decided to stay and wait for the sun to shine. I turned on my pc and had my radio on while surfing. Where's Earl?

Mag-go-grocery pa kasi ako e... 7am, nasa haus na ko, slept for an hour then fixed myself. 10:30 am, nasa SM na ko with my mudra. Before mag-grocery, I bought 2 tickets for tomorrow's game, got LB 214 A5,6. After grocery, I bought single headset with mic and 2 lip gloss :P. Had lunch at Goldilock's.

3pm, nasa haus na kami and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........................

Woke up at 8pm, had dinner and watched Superman IV.

TAX!!! TAX!!! TAX!!! !@$%@!&*&%*!@

Annual increase is here. Actually, late na nga eh. Nung March pa dapat 'to, anywys, sabi nga nila... better late than never. Satisfied naman ako with what I've got maybe because I did not expect too much.

But, this is too much. :(

Last Tuesday night, right after office hours lipad agad kaming 3 sa Mall of Asia ;)) to get our IMAX tickets for Superman Returns. I bought 4 tickets kaya meron akong 1 free ticket.. yipeeee!!!!

SM Mall of Asia - My First Visit

Had a semi-gimik last Friday with Don, Niks, Tabel, Earl, Ning and Beng. Semi kasi nag-magic sing lang naman kami sa office then had a dinner at North Park (minus Earl and Ning). It feels good to sing with your buddies, unlike na mag-isa lang ako sa bahay na kina-career ang pagkanta :P. Had to go early kasi, as usual, me lakad ako bukas with my mudra. Punta kami ng Mall of Asia.

First stop: Department Store. We went to the Children's Section first to look for some toys na pangregalo. Kaso, walang mapili or should I say, walang mapili na maganda at mura... hehehehe... kaya sabi ko sa nanay ko, bigyan na lang nya ng pera. So ayun, exit na kami ng DS.

Here are some of my observations: 1) Lahat ng wash rooms na napasukan ko, may mga tissue. Abah! ang sosy. Hanggang kelan kaya tatagal to? hehehehe... to think na hindi naman lahat ng nandun e namimili; 2) Ang daming guards, naka-white barong sila and very friendly, huh! Keep it up; 3) Seaside.

Anywyz, we had our lunch at Aristocrat. Chicken BBQ, Pork BBQ at pancit canton. Me natirang isang pirasong chicken saka pancit canton kaya, take-out na lang :). Then, lakad-lakad... I bought Superman III and IV vcds from AstroPlus. Sayang wala na silang X-MEN 2. At the 2nd floor, one store caught my attention: KULTURANG FILIPINO. At first, I thought puro handicrafts lang yung items hindi pala... me section dun na may mga shirts na ang design e, syempre, about kulturang Filipino obvious ba? hehehehehe... I bought 3 shirts, one for my tatay
Day(with a Philippine Eagle print) and two for me. I am already wearing the black one, cool shirt!

Promise, babalik ako dito. ;)

Tough Decision

I made my final decision already. Will no longer audition for Pinoy Big Brother Season 2. Why? After finding out that there will also be an international audition, fighting with two strangers at the mrt station, not knowing what to wear for the pictorial, semis schedule of SMB next week and the upcoming salary increase, I totally lost my interest. Sorry, tabel :) I know you've been very supportive of me. Try ko na lang next time.. hihihihihi....

Just an Ordinary Day

2nd day of my morning workout, started it last Sunday. :D. On my second week, I plan to lessen my food intake, in short diet ako. Sana tuluy-tuloy na to! :)

Where Do I Go From Here?

I've been working for more than 5 years now... 5 years, 6 months and 1 day to be exact. I've been into different designations... I was once a Developer Trainee, Design Engineer, Test Engineer and now a System Developer doing Installer stuff. Why am I writing this? Last Saturday, I started to contemplate on the things that happened to me for the last 5 years of my life.

I know, as of this very moment, I have given my family the best years of their lives. I love my parents so much, and I'm willing to do anything to make them happy. For the past 5 years, I know I have spent quality time with them giving all what they want and what they need (except for a house & lot :p). As an employee, I may not be the best among my contemporaries but I have given my 100% in every single task assigned to me. I've been a good friend, I still am. Unfortunately, I ended up dealing with unworthy creatures but, I'm hopeful that one day I would be able to share my life with the deserving ones. I'm starting all over again. And I'm still grateful that I have that one friend who knows the true meaning of friendship, hope you won't change, sis! :)

The last 2 years are the most fruitful years of my life: I got promoted, I met so many people from different walks of life, I learned to love my family, work and friends a lot deeper and I found my place in this organization. I am only 26, but I want to plan my future now! Tomorrow may be too late. What do I really want? Do I want to continue my career in IT, or put up a business, work overseas, try my luck in showbusiness (as if! :p), get married next month? Actually, I don't know. One thing is sure though, I want to try something new. Money? Of course, I want to earn more money but more than that, I want to use my skills, I want to have control of my time and my work. I am a born leader, I know what I want and I know how to get it. I don't want to waste my time and energy in an environment where I can see no future.

I've reached a point in life where it's no longer necessary to try to impress. If they like me the way I am, that's good. If they don't, that's too bad." ~ Corazon Aquino

Kim Chui - Teen Big Winner

While watching PBBTE Big Night last Saturday, I couldn't help myself but to admire the big winner, Kim Chiu! This cutie chinese from Cebu really made an impact inside the house. Talented, innocent and full of hope. Congatulations, Kim! By the way, here's the Tagalog version of Peng You:

Kaibigan

Sa lahat ng luha
Lagi kang may kasama
Sa gitna ng ulan
Karamay mo ako kaibigan

Sa tatahakin mong daan
Di kita iiwan
Di ka na mag iisa kaibigan

Ating pagkakaibigan
Di magbabago kailanman
Kahit na magkalayo
Nandito ka sa aking puso

Hhhhmmmm... Carry Ko Kaya?

Napanood ko last Wednesday sa TV Patrol yung training na ginagawa ni Manny Pacquiao in preparation for his fight against Larios (sorry, forgot his first name). Pinakita ung pag-jogging nya sa isang park. Hmmm... bigla tuloy akong nagka-idea. Matagal ko ng planong magbawas ng timbang, as in! I weigh 119 lbs, hindi naman over sa age and height ko pero feeling ko it would be better to have at most, 112 lbs. :D. So, told myself to do a thrice-a-week jogging at 5:30 am every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. Yes, Wednesdays and Fridays, before going to work :). Hhmmm... good idea! So, sana masimulan ko this Sunday. Wish me luck.. ;).

:D. I plan to audition for the 2nd season of PBB hehehehe.. :)). ;))... sana one of these days, makakuha kami ng correct info regarding the audition. Me nabalitaan kasi ako na natigil daw for unknown reasons. Anywys, we'll see na lang.

Perfume, CD and Punishment

Received an email from Maidette informing us of RUSTAN'S ESSENSES PRIVATE SALE. Forwarded the email to Nikki and afterwards, we found ourselves having lunch together and finished it in 15 minutes... hehehehe... (hindi naman halatang excited). Don, Nikki and I rushed to the Rustan's office in Salcedo Village and to our surprise......... CLOSED!!!! But, will resume at 1:30 due to the volume of buyers inside the not so spacious room. We arrived there at 12:30, meaning we have to wait for an hour to get inside. After waiting for around 30 minutes, Don decided to leave and so did I. We went back to the office empty-handed :p. Anywys, I just told myself that I wouldn't waste 3 hours of my precious time just to buy a bottle of perfume at 70% off :D. All I wanted was a bottle of perfume, that's all. Not interested in other imported beauty products like shampoo, soap, lotion.. etc. Better luck next time, dudes!! :)

Before going home, I went to Picture City in Park Square 2 to get the CD that I left last Tuesday night while having my pics printed. Ok.

So, usapang PBBTE naman.. :D. Gerald was punished by Big Brother for the crime of cheating. Yes, he cheated in one of their tasks recently. :p.

Love, Courage and Sacrifice

Yesterday morning, I had to accompany my mother to the doctor to treat her skin and since the attendant informed us that the doctor will arrive early afternoon pa, we decided to watch the movie first. Finally, I was able to watch X-Men The Last Stand yesterday! All I can say is WOW!!! Grabeeee.... to the highest level!

The movie simpy showed what love, courage and sacrifice mean. Wawa naman si Papa Wolverine :(, he killed Jean Grey because he loved her so much and he didn't want her to suffer anymore. I was amazed by the team effort that they showed to beat Magneto. But more than that, ewan ko pero the entire movie touched my heart, swear! Iba ung energy level nilang lahat, whew! Mukhang meron pa atang X-Men, 2nd to the Last Stand bwehehehehe....

After the movie, we found out that the dermatologist of my mother had an emergency call kaya ayun... wiz na lang check up ang mother ko.
